Break out the fedoras and linen suits once again for the 147th annual Belmont Stakes, the first stop to a possible Triple Crown win for American Pharaoh. If you aren't one of the more than 100,000 people headed to Belmont Park to keep an eye on your bets in person, head to one of these viewing parties (possibly with one of those scary plastic horse masks in hand) at sports bars, rooftop lounges and more to scope out the race with other fans. Giddyup.

Triple Crown Ale House (330 7th Ave)
You know this horse race-haven is having its annual shindig, so expect a busy gathering of revelers. There will be mint juleps and other drink specials on hand, as well as Irish favorites like bangers and mash and shepherd's pie, and you may even spot a couple of jockeys post-race.

Mustang Harry's (325 7th Ave)
This sports bar's annual party, and lots of TVs, always draws a crowd. They serve bites from nachos to quesadillas to steak, plus a good amount of beer on draft and drink specials day-of, but remember that midtown isn't exactly known for its deals.

mad46 Rooftop Lounge (45 E 46th St)
For a swankier affair, head to the Roosevelt Hotel's roof for a party and a view. Starting at 4pm, Knob Creek Bourbon Whiskey hosts drink specials and bar bites like mint chimichurri lobster, complete with a "Dressed at the Belmont" costume contest. Call 212-885-6095 for reservations.

21 Club (21 W 52nd St)
For a Kentucky-inspired fete, get thee to 21 club and enjoy two hours (4:30-6:30pm) of bar bites like burgers, pigs in a blanket and lamb meatballs and two Knob Creek Belmont Jewels cocktails for $55. To reserve a spot call 212-582-7200, and remember your business casual looks.
