You guys, it's suddenly really frickin' cold. What do we do?!?

Mother Nature, you fickle bitch. After a surprisingly balmy few weeks, winter is back with a vengeance. Raise your hand if you stepped out this morning without socks and no coat and were like, Whaaaaaaaat? The good news is that chilly weather means it's time to do loads of cold-weather things that felt sort of silly when it was 60 degrees out. Here's everything you should do today now that it's appropriately wintry out.

Go ice-skating! There are 10 particularly awesome rinks in the city, including Bryant Park, which is freeeeeee.

Head to a cozy bar. "But it's still morning," you say. To which we respond, "IT IS FIVE O'CLOCK SOMEWHERE. Good day, kind sir."

Shop, shop, shop. It's the perfect way to stay inside and (and also? You completely forgot to do your Christmas shopping, so…win-win. These sample sales should do the trick).

Take in a bit of theater! You've been meaning to get more cultural anyway, right? Gentleman's Guide, Spring Awakening and lots of other awesome stuff is closing soon, so why not escape the winter chill by checking one of them out?

Go to the movies! There's this little indie you may have heard of called Star Wars, but also tons of other cinematic awesomeness going down this weekend, including a super-fun, super-Christmasy series at Nitehawk where you can watch stuff like Love Actually while eating and drinking. Um, yes, please.

Or, I don't know…stay home. Netflix (or Netflix and chill, if you've got someone to chill with, in which case, MAZEL), Seamless, couch, sweatpants for days. You do you. Either way, stay warm, New York.
