Calling all non-cultured New Yorkers: It’s time to take full advantage of the great city you reside. Did you know you can nab a free membership to some of the best museums and attractions within all five boroughs? Hooray for free things to do!

All you have to do is sign up for an IDNYC card—a government issued identification card available to all New York residents (ages 14 and up)—before the cutoff on December 31. For one year, you’ll have access to 33 awesome cultural institutions, such as the New York Botanical Garden, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Staten Island Zoo and more. That means free admission, discounted tickets to concerts, special members-only events and tons of other perks. Click here to start the application process, and just like your holiday shopping, don’t wait until the last minute, okay?
