Before There Is Nowhere to Stand: Palestine/Israel: Poets Respond to the Struggle

In response to Israel's Operation Cast Lead in 2008, writers Joan Dobbie and Grace Beeler asked for contributions from poets of Palestinian or Jewish heritage that spoke to the notion of mutual understanding. The anthology that resulted contains work from Naomi Shihab Nye, Alicia Ostriker, Mahmoud Darwish and Rachel Corrie.
