Books Beneath the Bridge: Freebird

Brooklyn Bridge Park's third annual reading series kicks off as Columbia Street bookstore Freebird welcomes Elizabeth Mitchell. The author will read from her fascinating history, Liberty's Torch: The Great Adventure to Build the Statue of Liberty, against the Manhattan skyline and the silhouette of Lady Liberty herself.
