Bruce Eric Kaplan

Not only is New Yorker cartoonist Kaplan funny in his wiry, single-panel comics, he's also written for Seinfeld and Six Feet Under, and he indulges the narrative urge on his own as well. His new book, Monsters Eat Whiny Children, should appeal to both parents and kids who enjoy the thought of being cooked into burgers.
