Honestly, when was the last time you read the Declaration of Independence? Probably never. Hop on the ferry, and head to the historic Conference House—the site of a 1776 peace meeting between John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Edward Rutledge and Lord Howe—where our nation's founding document will be read today.
