Greg Grandin in conversation with Philip Gourevitch

Nominated for the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award, Grandin has had a lot to say about industry, U.S. foreign policy and Latin America in titles including Fordlandia and Empire's Workshop. He'll talk about his latest, The Empire of Necessity, and the story of a particular slave rebellion in the early 1800s with journalist Gourevitch.
