John D'Agata wrote a story about a young man's suicide in Las Vegas, and by his own admission, took liberties; rather than publish it, with reservations, Believer editor Heidi Julavits assigned a fact-checker (Jim Fingal) to get to work. Tonight the trio talk about the seven-year correspondence between Fingal and D'Agata, which was recently compressed into The Lifespan of a Fact.
