Michael DeForge: Ant Colony

Canadian artist DeForge, who has produced illustrations for The New York Times and comics for The Believer, creates a surreal, feral, gooey and gross underground world in his new Ant Colony: Epic battles and grand, sexualized insect queens are juxtaposed with quotidian happenings and language.
