Seems like something of an impossibility: Twenty-five popular mystery and thriller writers collaborate on a crime novel, No Rest for the Dead, one chapter at a time. Edited by staff from The Strand Magazine, and featuring the writing of R.L. Stine, Jeffery Deaver and Jonathan Santlofer, the book works better than it has a right to. Tonight, ten of the volume's contributors talk about the undoubtedly fascinating process of putting it together.
