Time Out says
The director of the New School's writing program, Robert Polito, reads from literature that might be considered noir, from the likes of Poe and Hemingway. Poet Robert Pinsky and novelist Mary Gaitskill will also be on hand to read from their own dark pieces and talk about noir's shadowy legacy. The evening is a part of the weeklong New School Arts Festival Presents: Noir.
