Studying Hunger Journals was poet Bernadette Mayer's attempt to transcribe "every event, every motion, every transition" of her mind; its color-coded text (each color corresponds to a different emotion) was partially published in 1975. Anne Waldman, Miles Champion, Mayer herself and many more will read from a new edition, featuring the complete text.
