This summer, Paul D. Miller (a.k.a. DJ Spooky) and scientist Brian Greene released The Book of Ice, a multidisciplinary look at Antarctica and the rate at which frozen water masses are disappearing from the planet. In addition to hearing about the duo's findings, tonight listen to Miller's "acoustic portraits" of ice—that is, suites based on his research and study—performed by a string quartet.
