The Poetry Brothel: La Rive Gauche

This interactive performance series is a literary cathouse, where male and female “whores” provide private poetry readings behind closed curtains. To kick off autumn, they’re paying homage to the quintessential home of bohemia, Paris’s historic Left Bank and honoring legendary L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E poet Charles Bernstein. Musical guest Sweet Megg & the Wayfarers will help lull away your cares, while burlesque divas Foxx Von Tempt & Poppy Tart put on a show.
