Walt Whitman Writers Series Reading: Dinaw Mengestu

The New Yorker's recent 20 Under 40 issue recognized Ethiopian-born Dinaw Mengestu for his writing, including his debut novel, The Beautiful Things That Heaven Bears. Tonight he reads from new work How to Read the Air, which revolves around the immigrant experience in the U.S.
