Writers in the City: Arthur Phillips

Novelist Arthur Phillips has ostensibly written a 250-page introduction to a lost Shakespeare play called The Tragedy of Arthur. Really, it's a novel-length story that revolves around "Arthur Phillips," a young man with a twin sister and a manipulative forger of a father who may or may not have written the footnoted text of the play that follows.
