Having starred as Blanche DuBois in the world premiere of André Previn's opera in 1998, soprano Renée Fleming depends on the kindness of colleagues as the work comes to Carnegie Hall for its first complete New York performance. Part of Fleming's Perspectives series, this semistaged account features Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Susanna Phillips and Anthony Dean Griffey in the cast; Brad Dalton directs, and Patrick Summers conducts the Orchestra of St. Luke's.
