Alex Lipowski Series

Percussionist Alex Lipowski, codirector of the Talea Ensemble and a musician well connected to some of the city's finest players, oversees the Stone's last guest-curator shift before its programming approach changes in April. Highlights of Lipowski's second week at the helm include duets by Megan Schubert and Jeffrey Gavett (Mar 22 at 8pm), a solo set by cellist Chris Gross (Mar 22 at 10pm), cimbalom music with the Ludovico Ensemble (Mar 24) and unaccompanied violin works played by Erik Carlson (Mar 26 at 8pm).
