Bang on a Can: Other Primary Structures

The composer-led collective continues its yearlong residency with the Jewish Museum by presenting works by John Zorn, Philip Glass, Louis Andriessen and Michael Gordon, pictured. The pieces are meant to engage with the venue's ongoing sculpture exhibition. Even if the connection between sound and images ends up being fuzzy (always a possibility), the performances—by pianist Vicky Chow, percussionist David Cossin and members of the Dither guitar quartet—are sure to be sharp.
