Weekends like this one—old and new music, adventurously programmed—are what make Bargemusic a consistently enticing destination. Tonight, cellist Yoed Nir mixes Hindemith and Hendrix (yes, Jimi) with his own compositions for electric cello. Olga Vinokur comes aboard on Sat 5 for piano works by Scarlatti, Schumann, Chopin and more. And on Sun 6, Ran Dank and Soyeon Kate Lee share the keyboard in four-hands pieces by Mozart, Debussy, Tchaikovsky and Gabriela Lena Frank.
