Benefit for Three Operas by Robert Ashley

Iconoclastic opera maverick Robert Ashley left us on March 3, but the show must go on at the Whitney Museum, where three Ashley operas, including his final work, Crash, will be staged in April. For this fund-raiser meant to help defray extraordinary production costs involved with the Whitney Biennial presentation, four artists involved in its making—Peter Gordon, Ned Sublette, Elio Villafranca and Alex Waterman—will perform solo sets.
