Acknowledging the centenary Benjamin Britten's birth, BAM presents one of the 20th-century English master's most powerful operas in a recent Glyndebourne Festival production by Michael Grandage. Mark Elder conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Glyndebourne Chorus, with Jacques Imbrailo in the title role, Mark Padmore as Captain Vere and Brindley Sherratt as Claggart.
