Christian Tetzlaff: Contrasts

Intelligent, inquistive and consistently rewarding violinist Christian Tetzlaff returns to the Y for a three-concert series presented in collaboration with Jörg Widmann, a prodigiously talented clarinetist and composer. Also featuring cellist Tanja Tetzlaff (Christian's sister) and pianists Alexander Lonquich and Cristina Barbuti, the programs all include music by Mozart and Widmann; in addition, you'll hear Bartók's Contrasts on Apr 16 and Messiaen's Quartet for the End of Time on Apr 20.
