Colorado String Quartet

This esteemed ensemble ends its more than three-decade run with the world premiere of Tamar Muskal's Farewell Letters to the Beloved One, a setting for soprano and quartet of texts by Hanoch Levin, translated into English by Chaya Galai. Revered new-music vocalist Lucy Shelton is featured in the performance, which is appropriately paired with Janacek's String Quartet No. 2 ("Intimate Letters").
