Composer Portrait: Georg Friedrich Haas

Without question one of the most fascinating contemporary composers now at work, Georg Friedrich Haas has just joined the Columbia University faculty. On Oct 10, Miller Theatre—which championed Haas well before his arrival—lays out the welcome mat with the season's first Composer Portrait, a trio of Haas works played by Ensemble Signal and conductor Brad Lubman.
