Time Out says

Bang on a Can cofounder and Pulitzer Prize winner David Lang crowns his Carnegie Hall residency with a festival devoted to storytelling through music. On Apr 22, Benjamin Bagby pairs his rendition of Beowulf with works by hobo visionary Harry Partch. On Apr 23, vocal consort Tenet and musicians from Trinity Church perform Arvo Pärt on a bill shared with Tuvan throat singers Huun-Huur-Tu. Nico Muhly, Ensemble Signal, Aesop Rock and Kimya Dawson share the stage on Apr 24, and pianist Louis Lortie plays Liszt's complete Années de pèlerinage on Apr 26. Alarm Will Sound tackles folksy pieces by Kaki King, Kate Moore, Donnacha Dennehy and Richard Ayres on Apr 27. The grand finale, on Apr 29, mixes Lang's own new mystery sonatas with pieces by John Cage.
