Billed as a "21st-century fantasia on 17th-century Italian music and theater," the crack players in eighth blackbird will not only thread together pieces by Gesualdo, Monteverdi, Bon Iver, Richard Reed Parry and Amy Beth Kirsten, over the course of this program. They'll also speak, growl and mime about, in true commedia dell'arte style.
