The supremely stylish violist—who initially made his name with arch-modernist ensembles like the Arditti Quartet and Ensemble Intercontemporain—is making the most of his single night at the Stone by playing three sets. At 8pm, he presents music by Frederic Rzewski, Olga Neuwirth, John Zorn and others. The 9pm set features works by George Benjamin and Mark Feldman. He wraps up at 10pm with more Zorn. (And each set will feature some of Knox's own music, too.)
