Hao Jiang Tian

Having arrived in the U.S. as an aspirant opera singer in 1983, Chinese bass Hao Jiang Tian realized his dream in 19 seasons with the Met Opera and in other prestigious circumstances. Now, exactly 30 years after that initial landing, he recounts his story while providing members of Sing Beijing, his Chinese apprenticeship program, with an opportunity to present operatic staples and traditional folk songs at Carnegie Hall.
