"I Sing Beijing"

Paul Nadler conducts the New York City Opera Orchestra in the first local presentation by a Chinese initiative founded in 2011 by renowned bass Hao Jiang Tian. Meant to introduce Western singers and audiences to the Mandarin language and the contemporary Chinese opera repertoire, the program here includes representative Chinese selections alongside music by Rossini, Puccini and Bernstein.
