Jade Conlee

This young pianist recently won a Fulbright scholarship to study Euro-modernism in its natural environment. Seems like she's pretty well prepared to do that—at least on the evidence of this recital program, which includes rarities like Nono's ...sofferte onde serene... (for piano and tape-electronics) and Harvey's Tombeau de Messiaen in addition to pieces by Scriabin, Carter and Tristan Murail.
