Lea Bertucci: The Cepheid Variations

The composer kicks off an Issue Project Room residency with this piece for strings and pre-recorded sounds. In addition to the electro-acoustic layering of sounds, the score calls for extended techniques, which will be taken care of by cellist Leila Bordreuil and violist Jeanann Dara.
