A Brittencentric season celebrating the English composer's centenary continues at leafy, green Maverick with a performance by the Jupiter String Quartet and pianist Ilya Yakushev on July 21; the bill includes chamber works by Haydn, Brahms, Britten and Bridge. Maverick music director Alexander Platt leads a sumptuous program of Britten's chamber-orchestra works with tenor Paul Appleby on July 27, and the Escher String Quartet surrounds Britten's Third Quartet with pieces by Elgar, Birtwistle and Beethoven on July 28.
