Mise-En Music Festival

The up-and-coming contemporary music group Ensemble Mise-En invites a gaggle of like-minded performers to join them in a festival. Mise-En kicks things off on June 19 at the Korean Cultural Service. June 20 belongs to Ensemble Paramirabo, which will play a Zappa arrangement and works by largely Canadian composers at the Americas Society. The Momenta Quartet drops by Taipai Cultural Center on June 21 for an early evening set before Mise-En hits up Scandinavia House with music by Bent Sørensen. All the groups join forces on the afternoon of June 22 for a six-hour concert featuring many different composers. Some sets are free, while others cost $20; festival passes can be acquired and R.S.V.P.s submitted to festival.mise-en.org.
