Time Out says

On a roll so far this season after highly successful runs of Powder Her Face and The Turn of the Screw, New York City Opera returns to its original home at City Center for a new production of a seldom-encountered biblical epic by Rossini. The staging is by Michael Counts, who designed 2011's memorable Monodramas trilogy; newly appointed music director Jayce Ogren conducts, and David Cushing sings the title role.
