Moving Sounds Festival 2013

An annual presentation of the Austrian Cultural Forum, Moving Sounds brings together contemporary composers, performers and electronic artists, along with a scattering of representatives from other art forms like dance and video, for a no-holds-barred celebration of edgy creativity. Highlights include a duo concert by Mario Diaz de Leon and Mahir Cetiz at the ACF (Sept 19, 9pm); a ballet program featuring the Argento Chamber Ensemble at the Czech Center (Sept 20, 7:30pm); a concert by impressive new-music group Ensemble Mise-En at Littlefield (Sept 21, 8:30pm); and an early-evening solo set by dazzling clarinetist Carol McGonnell at Littlefield (Sept 22, 6:30pm).
