Perspectives Ensemble

Perspective Ensemble's "The Intimate World of Toshio Hosokawa" isn't strictly part of the NY Philharmonic's Biennial. But since the festival's presentation of the Hosokawa opera The Raven is likely to stir local interest in the composer's oeuvre, this free show looks like a fine chaser. The bill includes works for solo bass flute, soprano and guitar, soprano and saxophone, flute and piano, and saxophone, piano and percussion.
