Steered by admirable conductor Larry Rachleff, the highly reputed student orchestra of Rice University in Houston makes its Carnegie Hall debut. Cho-Liang Lin is the featured soloist in Christopher Rouse's Violin Concerto, bookended by Berlioz's Le Corsaire Overture and Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra.
