Paul Haas and his innovative symphonic ensemble engage in orchestral manoeuvres in the dark with "Ascending Darkness," in which works by Haas, Rameau, Grieg, Messiaen and Arvo Pärt will be woven into a dreamlike sequence, played with muted lighting and surround-sound effects.
