Taka Kigawa with Ensemble LPR

A local piano luminary with a magical knack for making even the most complex works sing, Taka Kigawa goes big in this encounter with Le Poisson Rouge's intrepid house band. Kigawa performs solo pieces by Zosha Di Castri and Dai Fujikura; the ensemble plays Varèse's Octandre and Brad Lubman's Gallery Music; and everyone teams up for Ligeti's Piano Concerto.
