The Death of Webern + Re-routed

Pocket Opera Players present a double bill of thought-provoking one-act operas. The Death of Webern, by composer Michael Dellaira and librettist J.D. McClatchy, examines the circumstances of Webern's ostensibly accidental shooting by an American G.I. during World War II; Re-routed, by POP founder John Eaton and his daughter, librettist Estela Eaton, resurrects characters from operas long past for a riff on Dostoyevsky's short story "Bobok."
