For its second production of the new season, New York City Opera entrusts Britten's sexually charged take on a Henry James ghost story to the hands of director Sam Buntrock, whose interpretation proceeds from modern-day spook shows like Poltergeist and American Horror Story. Among a sharp young cast, we're especially psyched to see the riveting Lauren Worsham as Flora and boy treble Benjamin P. Wenzelberg returning to the role of Miles, a part he played memorably with Opera Moderne last year.
