Violinist, conductor and composer Todd Reynolds hosts a showcase for Dead Language, an entrepreneurial, genre-flouting ensemble fresh out of the Manhattan School of Music's Contemporary Performance Program. The trio—singing cellist Meaghan Burke, keyboardist Tristan McKay and flutist Jodie Rottle—is joined by oboist Stuart Breczinski in a program mixing works by Elliott Carter and Tristan Perich with a spontaneous "soundpainting" directed by Reynolds.
