Time Out says

Japan's longest-running Western-classical orchestra was set to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2011, before that year's calamitous natural disasters forced a delay. Now, the Tokyo Philharmonic finally makes its belated U.S. debut, conducted by Eiji Oue in Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring as well as compositions by Toshiro Mayuzumi and Kiyoshige Koyama.
