Tre Voci

This new chamber-music trio is comprised of violist Kim Kashkashian, flutist Marina Piccinini and harpist Sivan Magen. Fans of Kashkashian's adventurous 2012 recording of pieces by Kurtág and Ligeti will not be surprised to see contemporary items by Sofia Gubaidulina on the Oct 6 program (nor on the group's fine new album for ECM). But this trio doesn't just do the cutting-edge stuff: Also included on the bill are gorgeous works by Debussy and Rameau.
