You've likely heard the overture to this Rossini opera somewhere (perhaps in filmmaker Catherine Breillat's The Last Mistress), though one rarely gets to hear the whole spectacle in a live setting. Teatro Regio di Torino and its music director, Gianandrea Noseda, will right that wrong when they come to Carnegie to play the grand opera in a concert version.
