Bowie Ball 2012: Ziggy fans gather Le Poisson Rouge (slide show)

The man variously known as the Thin White Duke, Ziggy Stardust and (probably to no one except his immediate family) David Robert Jones—that’s right, the 65-year-old David Bowie–was feted at the annual Bowie Ball, held at Le Poisson Rouge on Saturday, October 13. As usual, the performance-heavy tribute—helmed by Deryck Todd—featured a few looks that Bowie himself probably wouldn’t have dreamed up, even in his most tlandish Aladdin Sane days.
