[title]The big Identity Festival, which hits the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey, on Sunday 14 and Jones Beach on Sunday 20, certainly isn't wanting for big names: Kaskade, the trance fusionaires of Disco Biscuits, Hercules and Love Affair, Booka Shade and, er, Steve Aoki are among the dozens of DJs and artists on board. But there are plenty of others stellar artists on hand, some of whom might not be quite as familiar to U.S. audiences (though they certainly should be). One of the best is Britain's Darius Syrossian, a man who's having quite a summer with tracks on Heidi's recent The Jackathon mix-CD, the 5 Years of 8bit compilation and Cocoon Heroes, mixed by Adam Beyer and Dorian Paic. Plus he's about to kick off a residency at Manchester, U.K.'s famed Sankeys. The reason for his rapid rise is, of course, his music—and here's a hot Syrossian set full of twisting, turning electronic-house antics.
