Heads up! We’re working hard to be accurate – but these are unusual times, so please always check before heading out.
Nic Fanciulli's music might not be the trendiest around—his sound isn't some newfangled permutation of bass music, say, or a recently contrived, dancey version of witch house—but the British DJ, producer and head of the Saved label probably couldn't care less. That's because he's among the best at what he does, which is make and play groovy, chugging and utterly effective electronic house, the kind that used to be referred to as tech-house before that term went out of favor. Fanciulli is playing with the like-minded Joris Voorn at the bash on Friday, March 25, but in the meantime, you can delve into this new mix from the man himself. It's a set that combines the DJ's elegant take on tech-house with the kind of Latin-laced tribalisms more associated with the DJ Sneak and his ilk—and it's all the better for it.
